        Since reading this thread I've lowered my res from 1600x1200 to 1280x1024..

        Probably should have done that a long time ago...

                    If you go to GotApex, they frequently list lots of sales going on at Dell. This is on the front page middle.

                        As far as I've read, you don't need to bother with refresh rate for the LCD's.

                                                            I wont work on any monitor with less than a 100 Hertz refresh....


                                                            I have a 20 inch ViewSonic running at 140 right now. It's far from new, so I would assume most new monitors/video cards are capable of 100 Hertz these days.
