I've done 2-hour test shoots for $50, but that's nothing special in terms of set-up or quality...just a chance to see how the model will work before committing more time and money. The pics are still marketable as home-grown or amateur.

I'm shooting a seriously bad-ass girl, tomorrow for $50/hour, plus another $150 for a hotel jacuzzi suite.

I don't worry too much about #pics/set as long as there's enough to capture what I'm trying to accomplish. I generally just try to tell the story and get good shots. 75 seems to be a good average, and I've known other photographers who adamantly stick with that number exactly. I've personally done 21-163 pics/set. There's really no "set" rule.
