I remeber reading that MS had a security setup that banned modded xboxes from xbox live. Is that no longer the case?

I've got an Xbox debug and an Xbox regular.

I want to mod a third Xbox to use Xbox Media Player.

It is sweet - hacker-developed, plays DIVX, MP3, VCD, SVCD, DVD, and just about any downloadable format you can throw at it over your network on your television.

Would make my life a helluva lot easier instead of burning VCD or SVCD to watch on my DVD player...

heh, you can even put an ftp on your xbox and give people access to it. and play all kinds of movies and such on it too.

My friends hacked an xbox. They added a modd chip and an external removable harddrive. This allows you to copy games straight from cd to your drive.

They also hacked the dvd functionality so you dont have to go out and buy the fucking pack.

Their machine will do

xbox live
DVD Function
Nintendo Emmulator
Super Nintendo Emmulator
Nintendo 64 Emmulator
Game Cube Emmulator
PS 2 Emmulator
Play all digital content formats

You can even use the xbox to get online and download games from other ftp directories.

it is pretty sweet. one of my friends even turned an xbox he had won into a linux firewall because he hates microsoft....

they have a no solder/no wire mod out. takes less than 5 minutes to install

ps2 emulator? get real thats not possible with the xbox hardware modded or not
