    kazaa & gnutella network

    Hey guys,

    This is my first post, I've been a pretty long time lurker... Im just wondering how other adult site owners feel about Kazaa, BearShare, LimeWire, etc.. Basically FastTrack and Gnutella networks..

    There is obviously ALOT of copyrighted material floating around on there, but i know a few wm's that use it to bring in traffic by tagging the images with the URL.

    Just curious how other wm's feel about it? Personally I'm all for it as a source of traffic generation, but I'm a relative newbie

                                      I wonder how content providers feel about that.. Would that go against the license agreement?

                                                      I know someone who was proposition by an RIAA-like org to write software that acts as a bounty hunter for digital piracy. they weren't going after the smurfs that download stuff through fasttrack or gnutella net. they were looking for individuals distributing petabytes of media.

                                                                  Well, as we're hosting them, we're all for the use of it - but not the abuse of it :-)

                                                                  I think WM's should still try to help eachother out in the business by getting legal material. Otherwise things are just going to get ruined for everybody.
