He is now a big religious buff, he said religion has changed his life and opened his mind to things. I just had a long conversation and i can't belive how dum he has become and close minded.
First off all he said that the bible is meant to be read 100% literal and that every single story is written through God because the writers had God guding them.
I think this is bullshit the bible is meant to teach how to live a good life and be nice to people.
He said porn is bad an that it ruined some of his friends marriages. Its so funny how in the world no one will take responsibilites for their own actions and blame things on someone else or something just because they are stupid.
I then said the point, what if you are the best person in the world, help everyone and are kind but dont believe in God. He said those people will burn in hell.
The i told him how religion is good in the fact it gives people meaning in life and he agreed.
He also belives the God is a wrathful God and will punish you. It is funny how bible buffs belive this but then cant explain how Jesus taught a loving and undertstanding God, they say o he is both. They have trouble differing between them.
So in close people who take religion to seriously become corrupted themselves and sometimes complete idiots. And he was trying to tell me beleifs were wrong just because i didnt 100% belive in the bible. If religion teaches this amount of close mindedness then fuck it.
