    how hard can it be...

    I have been snowboading a few times and back in the days hardcore skater...hehe longtimeago...

    when I get to the US my plan is to visit maui and i'll have to try out surfing!

    so how hard can it be....???

                                                      actually.... they call it "Jaws". Only happens a few times a year... in the winter time like now.... and it's here on Maui's north shore in Peahi.... created by the unique shape of the ocean floor there....


                                                      it's the biggest wave on Earth.

                                                      We had a set a few months ago... with hundred foot faces. 12 year veteran pro surfers were opting out of that one. They lost 4 or 5 jetskiis to it.... smashed on the rocks.... tons of injuries, and I think one death.

                                                      That was all before 11:00 o'clock.... but all in all.... not a bad day.

                                                                                                                                  The amazing waves at Cocoa Beach, Florida today...
                                                                                                                                  Usually during the winter and obviously during hurricane season, the waves can kick up quite a bit, but during the summer and the rest of the year, there is nothing. Playalinda which is about 15 minutes away is usually the best bet. They typically get nice swells in odd spurts throughout the year and can occasionally get huge. Fun, hard break.
