I plan on doing the same as last summer...get a state park pass and spend a lot of weekends hiking and fishing with my wife...do some camping...visit some antique shops. We live in Indiana so there's a lot to do if you are an outdoorsey type or enjoy places like Brown County and Shipshewanna.Comment

Looking at one of two options...:
1. Australia/New Zealand for 3 weeks.
2. Mammoth Lakes for 1-2 weeks.
Had to add #2 with the looming war and HUGE anti-American sentiment abroud (sp?). 'Sides, there's nothing I like better than a calm lake at dawn, followed by a night of debauchery...repeat until dead.

i promised my nephew that for a bar mitzvah present I would take him for an adventure vacation in central america (white water rafting in Costa Rica, Mayan ruins in Guatemala...). It might be a bit much for a 13 yr old so I may re-consider and just fly him up here to Vancouver and go camping in the Rockies...Comment

Hitting LA to enjoy some good music for about a week, flying up New York to take a look at a little art for another week, and then going straight to Internext in Florida! After that I might take my gf to orlando for some Universal Studios type fun for a few days.
Nothing too exotic, but it'll be a good escape from the the standard weekend in Vegas!Comment
