I've said before that I think big business is working against Acacia behind the scenes. The attorneys for HomeGrown.. Fish & Richardson just defeated a patent for one of their clients Microsoft.
http://www.fr.com/news/articledetail.cfm?articleid=263 I think it would be strange for Microsoft & Homegrown to have the same patent attorneys and not have Microsoft support Homegrown in defeating Acacia .. don't you? Imagine the detailed documentation Microsoft has got to have for video over networks prior art. Don't you think Microsoft would see Acacia as a future threat and help squash it now instead of later? I think so.
