Actually it IS Canning Street, North Carlton. Well spotted, weasel! I found the photo on the site for North Carlton Primary (AKA Lee Street), and it's of particular interest because I lived in the north-west block of that intersection for 20 years of my life. I took the colour one above to try to reproduce that image. It was quite difficult to get the angle right as I didn't have a tripod, and I think I would have had to be on the road itself to match everything up exactly. It was close enough, anyway...
Originally posted by fletcher Rowan, what camera are you using? I love the saturation.
Just a cheap Powershot A200 (2MP). I have to admit that I did bump up the contrast slightly on the macro shots, but apart from that nothing else was changed. The sky shot was stitched together from 2 or 3 consecutive shots. A larger version (2270x490) is here
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

how come a cow is fucking another cow? cow meaning not a bull, it has utters
I heard that the cows get in heat and start jumping on each other.
They usually do it to the bulls as an indicator that they are ready, but when they are separated, they jump anything.
I am not sure if this is the truth, I just heard this once.

I guess you guys are/were both Melbournites?[
You got it - I'm a Melbourne guy. The reason I recognised the photo is that I lived on Canning Street for a couple of years.
Your photo came out really well - the building on the corner looks almost unchanged. nice stuff
Thaught this one was pretty cool to!!!
you cant see it from the picture but the hole sky has a big circle of holes that opened up like that!
