I don't curl but it seems like a cool sport. The first winter I was in Canada, I was amazed by how many channels show curling. I'd be channel surfing and there'd be a half dozen of them on at a single time.

i tried to find a place to learn curling after the last olympics but was told there wasn't a venue in the UK outside of Scotland and that is a tad too far to travel. I think it is a great strategy game.
Curling is a pathetic winter Olympics sport that has no ulitmate goal, and getting two other losers to brush the ice for your rock to slide smoother; doesn't make it a team sport, sorry.
I do not agree. I have sweept rock across the lentgh of the ice. I was even tired. It is about angles and weight and of course sweeping to make the rock go. Go to an event, get drunk and site beside someone thatknows the rules and you will enjoy it.

I saw the curling on tv during the Olympics, but I stopped watching after I learned that they don't test curlers (don't know the right term) for performance-enhancing drugs.
I'm sorry, but any of those curlers could have been boosting their performance with Valium or some other major downer and nobody would know it.
