Bush just visited the area where I live a few weeks ago about this. There is a really bad mass-exodus going on here in all the area hospitals by doctors, due to the increase in malpractice ensurance premiums in the area.He doesn't want you to be able to sue if you or your family get screwed by your doctors - or insurance companies.
The problem stems from ridiculous inflated claims filed by patients against doctors. Pretty soon we're not going to have any good physicians in the area, and will have to travel about 2 hours out of our way to get one.
He's not trying to stop you from suing for a legit claim, but lawsuits in this country have literally run amuk, and this is one result of it.
I'm not a Bush advocate, but I do support this one.

I think Bush is or will be making a huge mistake with this, and as far as I'm concerned, most of the Americans agree with this. So how exactly has Bush decided this if at least half of his country disagrees with it?? It's nice to be president I guess
