New Design - Feedback??

Okay.... before writing my message I wanted to say to the designers that have worked with me in the past... please don't be offended that Tanaka Designs did this. It wasn't my decision. I'm partnering with a very well known adult company - more on that at a later date - and they chose Tanaka because they've dealt with them in the past. Since they're footing the bill I'll let them use whomever they wish.

I need opinions. NakedCollegeGirls.tv is being redesigned.

My members hated that first proposal because they said that, while it's beautiful, it looks too much like all the other sites out there and is way too polished. They suggested keeping the site with the same layout that's currently used but with just a little polish.

So here's the rough draft from the second proposal. I personally like it. What do you think?

Yikes, it's true, the second idea is way better. It looks more similar to the current layout of the site.

Also, comparing the first draft and second draft, the second one makes me want to stay at the site more so than the first one.

They are right, the first one is no good (it may have been, had they been more innovative, but I saw NOTHING on that first one that had anything at all themed with the topic).

For your particular site I would say that the second draft there is your keeper.

your members were absolutely correct - first design is nice but it's cookie cutter.

Second design is nice and is how your site should be marketed, you have the same type of content as ATK, TF, Karups - i think those boys know a little more about marketing to that niche than
Tanaka and the web guys you're partnering with.

Donny congrats on all the recent success you're having

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

I like the logo & designs, but I think all that 'in your face stuff' takes away from the original plan of the site.

graphics are good, but surfers dont really carethat much, sure they like cool looking pages with graphics and animations, as long as it doesnt take too long to load.... , they are paying to see your girls nothing else, dont let the tour take away from them.. bottom line.

be careful it doesnt get too far from the 'original, very amateur, easy to navigate, and not hard on your eyes' formula.

anyhow, enough of my most of the time useless advice.

Your advice is never useless. I'm glad you aren't PO'd that you weren't called upon to redesign it. The company I mentioned was talking with me about ideas for a redesign. Next thing I know they're sending me proposals. I didn't have any input in who was used to redesign. Sorry about that.

make sure you are in control of it and the directions, or before you know it, youll have another cookie cutter graveyard full o thumbs.

im sure it'll be fine in the end.

I'm with the rest of these cats, the second one is way better looking. Bigger thumbs and more of a tease with the girls profiles and maybe some other tumbs would be way cool. When you click on the thumbs on the test pictures page you get the username/password pop-up if you have nothing to enter you get dumped to your 401 page! I would send them to a join page instead, just my

Have your coeds not left the girly stuff in junior high?

Dont like it.

Look at paul markham content site for sexy colors or design.

Quality sites should have a quality look and feel.

that Explicite site is nice but it has nothing to do with Donny's niche. Either does Paul's sales site.

The second design is good, you can always tweak colors and stuff later if you think its not working.

i was going to say the pink and blue theme is a bit played out in the teen niche but.......... http://www.wantongirls.com

As i dont think babyblue and pink does either.

It was a alternatives that show that sexy girls doesnt necessarily mean daisies and pinkish
