Hey, guys! Check your shit! The site loads great, not to mention the other sites hosted on this server. Are you all going through the same conection or something? That's pretty fucked up. Seriously though, as happens when dealing with new shit, I was running the indexer and the fucker locked my server. you guys must all be working together though since it was only down for about 5 minutes or so. Anyway, the indexer is finished, so no chance of it fucking up. Besides, I found and fixed the problem. Once again proving, beyond any doubt at all, that shit happens.

If you're getting microsoft error pages then something is definitely wrong. This is a Linux server running Apache 1.3.27! It's probably your browser that's giving you an error page, not my server. I think the problem with the two reportedly dead domains is one of DNS propagation. The DNS entires for those two dead sites are only about a week or two old. It does seem like an excessive amount of time for the configuration to propagate, but what the fuck? Every now and then the TGP can't be found by posters either. Still, I do get a shitload of submissions every day, and every day it gets a bit better. I just can't believe how long it's taking for the fucker to get around. Ok, it's obvious that none of you know shit about how this works. If you're getting a Microsoft error when you try to hit the site this tells you two things. First, it tells you that the error is not generated from a linux/apache server. Since this is what my server is, then it is safe to assume that it's an internal IE error message, unless you believe that Bill Gates really is GOD, in which case we're all fucked. If you're running IE6 then it probably tried to sell you the domain name. If a previous version then it probably TOLD YOU it was a probable DNS error. Second, since I can see the site from here, and since many other people can see the site from various locations, (I've had shit submitted from as far away as Germany), it is safe to assume that the config hasn't propagated to your DNS server yet. See, it really isn't all that complicated, if you have half a fucking brain. DNS propagation taking longer than about a week is pretty rare. If it's taken longer than that on a regular basis for you, then I would talk to whoever is hosting your DNS and ask why thier shit is fucked up. It just doesn't take that long.
As far as not being able to resolve my DNS servers. NO SHIT! What kind of a fucking idiot would put a host record on his DNS server name? That's about the stupidest thing you can do! Why not just give the hackers your address and a fucking sledge hammer? If you ever see anyone doing that invite them over for a poker game. The pickings will be pretty good.
Meanwhile, being one myself, I can appreciate a smart ass, but a smart ass who's also a dumb ass is ... well.. FUCK IT! WHERE'S MY SHOTGUN?
