Well my last GF was one of those "independant" type girls, so I gathered a decent bit of experience about this type stuff during that fiasco. I know what he's feeling - been there loads of times myself.
So then you know exactly how I am! See, this is why he and I work well together! He lets me be independent...doesn't try to make me feel inferior etc.
Maybe this is why I always date younger guys...always seems like older men want to control you. It's hard to find someone who lets me be me.

it's rough stuff eh, but here is a litle song to make you all feel better, i think. Click HERE Just don't click for teh next few minutes until it's done uplaoding.
What I was looking for is how men would like a woman to handle this situation IF they were in his shoes.
I don't have the mind of a man, and don't know what you guys are thinking. I know he knows I am not a pig (just don't go around screwing people) and I know he knows I care about him. He also knows I am honest.
Simply I was looking for information on what I should do next? I don't want to push him if I shouldn't and I don't want to leave him be if I shouldn't. I am not so good in relationships lol.
Oh ok, so you want to know how men think? Oh ok here is how we think (im sure this is also what you want to hear)
We hate to jump into relationships, we never think about a women as a good peice of ass but rather as someone who would be a good mother for our children.
We are always the ones that want to meet your family before we have sex or anything.
We never want to have sex without condoms and we never cheat.
So then you know exactly how I am! See, this is why he and I work well together! He lets me be independent...doesn't try to make me feel inferior etc.

Yep, not all that big of a deal if you ask me. Kinda like "you can do whatever you want, but you're only mine" type deals. Just gotta figure out what you want and go from there. I didnt care that my ex would do out with *friends* becuase I trusted her. But she wasn't allowed to go on dates. Go figure eh? heh
Please only say things she wants to hear, like "Hes a great guy and would make an awesome husband for saying that"
WHOAAAAAAA
I'm not talking husband here! Sheesh I am talking about someone I date, that I hurt, which I didn't know REALLY that it was going to hurt him. I mean I guess I sorta did...but this is why we have talked about it, and we are open to it, even though we have not done it.

But if guys want you to be with only them, what is the big flippin deal on saying so?!?
Ok I have just about had it with this bullshit, how can a smart fuckin women fall for shit like this and not want to face reality THIS SHIT IS BEYOND MEEEEEEEE

for saying that it shouldn't have taken you another date to figure out that you liked him... no offense here... but he sounds like a HUUUUUUGE softy
Originally posted by iwantchixx It's simple, the guy loves her, and he is very hurt..... whats wrong with being hurt? Does that make him less of a man? No, it makes him more of one.
Love has never been mentioned in this relationship. We're also both extremely bad at saying how we feel. Do I love him? No. However, I do care a lot and I don't want to hurt him...but for me unheard rules don't seem to work, which is what I think happened here.
Also, if after 4 months he has not said he wants to be exclusive...how can he be hurt? I mean, when do you guys either shit of get off the pot? And how are we suppose to know what you're thinking if you don't tell us straight up?

Actually, I may be ready...it's just hard to find someone that works within my schedule. Either I am doomed to date someone who works in this industry, or find someone without a job! LOL
I guess I went out with someone else, because it just seems like this current thing is at a stand still. It's not advancing, and that may be what I want. *confused*
Well now this kinda tells a different story..
Is this a relationship out of convenience.. because you two have similar schedules?
It sounds like it to me.. especially with you saying that it's at a standstill..
Just because you find someone with a similar schedule, doesn't mean that he's the one..
I'm thinkin if it were a good relationship, it would be growing.
Looking at the situation as it's been lately, just answer Dr. Phil's obligatory question.. "How's this workin for ya?"
If you found someone else that was interesting, with a similar schedule, could that be a problem with this relationship?
You obviously want more in that you don't like the idea of things being at a standstill.. And if he's content with the way things are, then the signs are there of problems ahead.
Communication is of the utmost importance about now.. You just need to sit down with him and lay the cards on the table..
You both have a right to know how each other feels about the relationship.. and you both have an obligation to let each other know how you feel..
Assumption is not the way to a successsful relationship.
If you found someone else that was interesting, with a similar schedule, could that be a problem with this relationship?
There are some really smart guys here!
Actually, I didn't know if the above would be true or not...til I did it. Now I know that I don't really want to go out with other people...I thought about him most of the time...I even felt bad.
Originally posted by FATPad If you want things to move forward, you could always try saying something to him instead of going out on a date with someone else?
And someone already asked this, but if you were just waiting for the date to be over, why were you making out with the guy at some point?
I am sure I have hinted that I wanted things to go forward, with no forward response really.
Well kissing this guy opened a whole other can of worms. He's like soooo into me already. I don't want to hurt his feelings either but what am I suppose to say? Gee *so and so* going out with you made me realize how much I really like Matty? I'm sure THAT will make him feel good.
By the way...I called him today, and he still has not called me back =(
Originally posted by Soul_Rebel Stay away from him! he is a well known scammer selling broken medical equipment to hospitals and on ebay. I have warned you so many times about him

You hinted?
Maybe he hinted, too, and you didn't notice.
You two need to stop hinting and learn how to start talking to each other.

Now, the more I think about it the more it annoys me that he's mad at me! I really didn't do anything wrong. We have had the conversation clearly stating that we are free to be with other people if we chose to do so. Just 2 weeks ago we had it!
I can understand him being jealous/hurt, but mad at me? Pfft!
IF I REALLY did something wrong, maybe some ass kissing would be in order...but honestly...Did I do anything wrong? Was I wrong to go out with another guy and kiss him?!?
Suggest you both become exclusive. No dating. Tell him what you ment to say was "I went on a date because we both agreed it was ok, and I realized that I don't need that option, I'd like to be exclusive with you."
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
