Ripped off by Choker

Anyone else ripped off by Choker?
Long story short, I paypalled Choker $350 US for traffic 2 days ago, heard nothing from him for a day. When I finally contacted him onICQ to ask whats the status. He says I filled out form on his site incorrectly or in the wrong order and has no record of the order. I asked for money back and sent him all the paypal info and have not heard from him since

Last message was 10 AM this morning where Choker says
"did you ever message me the paypal info I asked for? If not there is nothing I can do, you need to reverse the charge, if I can't find your paypal what can I do?"

Well I sent all info to him twice and I can't reverse the charge as he accepted it.

Suggestions anyone???

(someone needs to make a smiley of a guy with his hands in the air and mouth open in the classic 'what the fuck?' look)

Send an e-mail or call Paypal. They will freeze and block his account. They will refund you, and choker won't be able to use paypal for the rest of his life. Wich is around 6 more months. Enjoy.

Jizzman, Choker's a busy guy, try his script and you'll work it out with him. Choker has a clean record, he has no reason to rip you off...

The guy works like 16 hours a day, his system is huge... He has to setup some kind of structure to be able to maintain it all. He tells you right on his page how to get in touch with him. If you don't like the "service", find something better...

Choker said he didnt get the money, id say its time to launch icq and get it squared away.

Any decent business man would agree.

I don't get that man... it's been two days only you are trying to resolve the issue... you sent the info, he told you this morning he didn't get it... at 10 AM... and NOW, a couple hours later, you come to the board...

unless I'm dumb, the guy told you he didn't get it and asked for the info, once again.... perhaps you should send it back and try for a day or two more ?

lots of people are busy and don't get their info in time... not a reason to go to a board... especially for 350$.... just my , since I dunno choker or how his biz is handled really

He originally told me last night to send the info, which I did. I then sent it again immediately after he asked for it at 10 am. I made this post 7 hours later. How long does it take someone to go into paypal and make a payment. Takes me about 2 minutes

It doesn't sound like you ever worked with Choker or his system..

When you paypal him the money, there is a form you have to fill in his script to notify him of this. If you can't even get that right (it's very simple) and consequently start ICQing him about it, he'll probably refer you back to the script because that's what he has to do before a payment is confirmed and the traffic is sent.

Well, if you can't handle that kind of issues because you don't have time, hire someone to take care of it of just don't offer the service. This kind of professional approach isn't going to help him. Look at the results. When dealing with money and strangers, you have to DEAL with it. The "I am to busy" excuse is unacceptable for someone into any kind of business.

I'm sure Choker will fix the problem, just message him and give him 24 hours before expecting a response. He's a good guy, he's not going to rip you off and ruin his business over $350. If he can't see your paypal, what's he supposed to do? You can reverse it, he won't dispute that.

I made a mistake when paying him this week, my partner sent it from a different e-mail than I told Choker he was going to. Choker said he couldn't see the payment, but once I figured out the mistake I made and told him, I was getting the traffic a couple hours later.

tried contacting them, phoned, found out email server is down on their end... not their fault...

what I'm saying is we all work different time zones, different work pattern... some days, I work without ICQ....

so, if you'd tell me at 10, I told you I checked 3 times so far, haven't received a thing, then proceed to finish my work with ICQ offline for the remainder of the day... well, it's 24 hours without you hearing from me... doesn't mean I'm not onto it... just that I was elsewhere....

Just saying give the guy another day or two... things are easier to work when you use all options..

Phone, email, icq, script etc... then, if eh doesn't respond after that or said fuck off, go to the board as last resort

Write a script which will email choker every 10 mins to remind him to check his paypal for your $$$ and to send you traffic back or your money!
