Btw, I said nothing about the currency but "the quality of life" let me repeat the "quality of life" Also, medical is free here. Nobody has to go bankrupted over health treatments. I've been to the clinics here as well as to the U.S. clinics too ofcourse (only been here 2 years) .. honestly, I haven't experienced any worse waits than I did in the U.S. Don't know where you get it from but i heard the complete opposite? I heard Americans often come to Canada for better treatments? Am I missing something here other than that I don't speak russian?

Canada has taken the route of using it's tax dollars for social welfare not it's military. A wonderful thing for the citizens of Canada. However Canada could not have taken that route if other countries notably the US had not invested in the technology of war. Whether any of use like to admit it or not there will always be one or more powers with the big stick and they will bash those weaker if they think they can get aways with it.
Canada has and still benefits from the adjoining geography and language of it's southern neighbor. Is suspect if Canada did not have that umbrella protecting it Canadians would be paying for a military instead of social welfare.
