It's the same as everything else out there. I like the design, don't get me wrong, but it is the same as Nasty, Ox, him, her, them, etc. etc. just a bit different. Good luck!

It depends..if you're looking to upsell off their link list I would use another AVS, you'll get a nice bandwidth bill and few if any upsells for your trouble.Originally posted by Equinox

If you are getting your own traffic they are still o.k. I guess but a bit played out imho.
New Adultcheck gold sites pull in some good traffic from existing pass holders which can be good to upsell to other sponsors/avs.

Link directly to the join page and skip the promise page. Put a link to the promise page on your tour if you must, mingle that text in with the tour, or bullet point on the join page... but only reaffirm what you've written on the tour. The last thing you need to do is put someone off when they get to the join page.
Also if you're going to give away free samples on the tour, then make sure they're full quality. None of that "these are compressed, but images inside are full quality" bullshit. Imagine you're in a store where they're selling giant cookies for $1 each. You get a free sample piece, and it tastes like shit. They assure you, "it's only a free sample, the $1 cookies are much nicer!" Would you buy it? I wouldn't, fuck that. Same situation if you're test driving a car. The car handles like shit, but the dealer says "it's only a test drive model, the car you'll receive will handle much better!" You get the idea.

You're seriously going to update this thing with 5,000 new pics every month?
If not - change that text - surfers are chargeback-happy these days.
If you are... why not just get your own processing and have a real paysite? The bandwidth from the existing AVS members might not be much to some folks, but it does add up; especially when you've got big, high-res pics.
The tour looks *really* nice, though. Whichever way you decide to go with it, I think it will do well if you can push some traffic to it.Comment

Yeah I actually plan on updating it with lotsa content in the future, dependent on how well it will do. I won't limit it to pics though, I'll get movies and later even exclusive content.
I simply believe that I can't offer enough to retain members with a processor of my own, yet. As time moves on, I will probably will go a similar way that others have gone before - turn the AVS into a paysite. Until then, I'll stick with what I got.
