Step 1.
Figure out where there is a lot of traffic.

Step 2.
Figure out how to get it to come to your site.

Step 3.
Implement plan (see steps 1 & 2).

not a popular route with most webmasters but... work hard. every day you set yourself a goal. If your deal is building tgp sites and submitting galleries then do that.

Test your limits - how many galleries can you build and submit in a day .. 1? 2? 4? depending on what other sites allow.

Take some excess pics or just your best ones and submit those to picposts.

Take a few galleries and make copies of them. Make small free sites within your tgp domain with a little link back to your main site. submit those free sites to link lists.

When you've got too much free content to give away from those galleries make up a little avs site. submit that to avs link lists.

I would recommend keeping a couple domains handy for traffic pumps. You can use freehosting (which sucks) but make sure you point your domain name to their nameservers to retain the traffic even when all freehosts are dead.

This is really just the tip of the iceburg for traffic generation for myself but I still follow this practice to some degree and probably will forever.

Here in Chico our main source of traffic comes from Highway 99... but highway 32 offers a good supplement as well.
