Damn now I have to go dig up some of the pre-release hype quotes about how cities would be TRANSFORMED around the release of "IT", how new industries would be formed to service "IT" and how nobody could live without "IT"...

Yeah I knew what it was going to be about 5 minutes after I found out the inentor/company name... www.uspto.gov is nice for that sort of stuff. Some people thought he wouldn't have it patented or something..

That's just not the type of world we live in. There are sketches and drawings of "IT" on the patent site too.

With all the hype I figured they were being real speculative about how the people & cities would accept the thing. But who knows.. this is only version one. I could see a more enclosed "LARK" type of segway for SC's (senior citizens) and faster sportier ones for kids and young adults. If/when they hit < $1000 level (and everyone that wants one has one) I bet people will be modding the hell out of em

At first the project was called "Ginger" I though its lensman thats behind it
