Acacia letter today

SO, I get the damn letter today. I'm just an afffiliate, but funny thing is that they write me with my real name but also with a corporation name which I used 2.5 years ago.

I am an affiliate for 89 sponsors (heavy usage of hosted galleries), I went through all of them and could not find my old corporation name, then I went looking for the content provider and there I found the only place where I registered using that old corporation name.
Thing is, I never purchased content from them, I only registered to view what they had to offer.

I really thought that when you signed up for any kind of account, your personal information were supposed to be confidential

Anyways, if anyone is interested, I'll tell you who it is...

Before I post the name, please understand that I am 101% sure of it. I have signed with 37 content providers, bought from 23 of them. I have only used this old corporation name 1 time.

I double checked it twice.

I got the letter as well. It was addressed to my first and last name along with one of my corporate names. I know I don't have my first and last name on any whois records.

I use serveral sponsors, but have only purchased content 1 time from 1 place. That place was mentioned.

At least I never bought from them. Their content is WAY too high-priced for highly over-used content.

I guess whoever is living in my old house is probably getting their Acacia packet right about now.

SO glad I didn't leave a forwarding address.

I'm going to be really pissed if they target me since I don't use video. If they do, I'll see them in court, I tell you that right now.

Matrix has never relased webmaster infomation to anyone. We have faithfully served the Adult Industry since 1999 and would not do anything to harm our customers or any other webmaster. I have spoken to my attorney and we are looking into the matter. We will get to the bottom of this and I KNOW WE WILL COME OUT CLEAN!

I'm pretty sure there are different sponsors or producer who turned over their customers/affiliates list. In my case, there is no doubt, I had purchased a domain to make a specific type of site, I never used that domain and the only place where I listed that domain was on Matrix Content domain information, nowhere else!
