    Filmmaker Looking to Partner w/Webmaster

I started my site www.interracialfreak.com one month ago to help promote my films/videos. The good news is that the site is off to a great start. We've got members and made a few video sales. But I am a filmmaker NOT a webmaster, and I would like to form a partnership with someone. I want to hand off the site duties to a webmaster with the following qualifications:
    1) Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining successful adult sites.
    2) Streaming capabilities.
    3) E-commerce/credit card processing in place.
    4) Knowledge of laws regarding adult site and adult e-commerce issues.
    5) Proven marketing skills with adult websites.
    6) Knowledge of site security issues.
    7) Located in the Southeast region a plus, but no required.

If you possess these skills and your interested in teaming up with an accomplished video producer, please let me know and I would be happy to negotiate a satisfactory agreement based on your skill level. Serious inquires only. I would really like to get back to what I do best and make films/videos and let you do what you do best...and both of us profit.
    Thanks,
    Jeff Dixon

I am wondering how you got members because your join link doesn't point to a joinpage.

Anyway, do you license the videos you shoot to other webmasters? If yes, I'd be interested in that stuff...

Thank you Patrick. I just fixed that little problem. Actually I updated the site this week, hence the broken link.

Well ez, even though I suspect your question is somewhat retorical, I'll give you an answer anyway.

For one thing, I am willing to give a webmaster a generous precentage from the revenues generated on my site in exchange for their expertise. As I stated in my initial post, I am interested in forming a partnership.

Secondly, our studio produces original content and we have multiple revenue streams such as cable, pay-cable, home video retail sales, and internet. As everyone on this board is well aware, subscribers come and go (and recently they're mostly going), but a strong brand name (which is what we are trying to establish), a library of original content, and the ability to leverage that content over serveral distribution outlets, drastically improves your odds of longevity is this business. Not to mention bigger profits.

I didn't post this message to start a pissing contest with other webmasters. But if any qualified person is willing to invest their talents and efforts with us, I can assure you that we will provide a very talented crew, a unique product and legitimate contacts within the industry that will help us get to where we're going.

If you're doing great, God bless you. My hat is off to you. But I firmly believe that we are a worthy and valuable partner for ANY webmaster who is willing to take a small chance with us.

          Thank you,
          JD

If you don't find anyone, you can still license the videos to me. They look promising and my members will for sure enjoy them

Alot of webmaster will never jump into a parntership program with others. Here is my thought on it. Why should I build your site, make some sales and when its big then have you take it away from me? It has happend to alot of poeple.

Most people wont do it. I know I run a couple of websites. Even my close friends wouldn't take them over due to the amount of work it takes to keep the sites going. But that is just my

                Dear Mr. Kain,

I am so glad you asked that question because you raise an important concern. This environment is filled with it's share of cons, cheats, and unscrupulous business people. So I don't blame anyone for being suspicious of my offer. But that is what contracts are for, and if I did form a partnership with someone, I assure you we would do it with more than just a handshake.

And for those webmasters who say, "I'm doing fine, why do I need you?" Well look back through history and you'll find that very rarely do business models stay the same. In other words, what is working for you now, may not work for you in the future.

I believe that webmasters who seek strategic partnerships with independent producers like myself will be much more prepared to adapt their business models to whatever changes the market place and/or technologies bring in the future.

Smart producers know that broadband is the best opportunity to build a proprietary distribution channel. And webmasters with foresight should recognize that by allying themselves with producers who are committed to building a branded distribution channel, will position them for greater success.

And that's just my two cents.
