Those kind of trials appear on the news here in Europe and makes us laugh.
Our system is much different. For example, a couple of years ago, my mother in law sold her bar to a bitch that never paid her. One day we went to the bar claiming for the money and during our conversation when I became pissed off I used very rude and offensive language. There were over 10 people watching a soccer game on TV. The bitch sued me, but the case did not even went to trial, because the judge considered my attitude normal under the circunstances.
In America probably I would have lost my house to that bitch, to compensate her "irreversible moral damages".
