    New Trend?

    http://www.angelsofpornvideo.com

It's an SEG site. Any other exclusive content sites selling their content to programs like SEG for paysites like this?

Hmmm........ guess it's the next step up from a leased plugin, or down, depending on the $$$. Sorta a paysite with semi-exclusive content in a box. We could shoot 10-12 custom scenes and sell to like a handful of programs.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

And how would this be different from leased content?

you have no control over leased plugin content, you have to take it as it comes, pay by the month based on members/bandwidth, some restrictions on how you can market it on your tour usually. Also leased plugins will lease to as many paysites as they can, this would be very semi-exclusive.

What I'm talking about gives a SMALL group of web companies the content to do as they want with, they can encode into whatever formats and bitrates they want, their own design, build a fake reality style tour out of it - so at most 6 web companies would have the content at a fraction of the cost, one time charge versus an ongoing leasing fee.

this is already going on - check out CJBUCKS and TCG - they are running sites with the same exclusive content package.

This alone would define it simply as semi-exclusive content. Leased content fees imply there will be regular updates.

So, how is this different from simply being normal semi-exlusive content? The concept of semi-exclusive leased content is a good one, though it would force me to price it higher than a typical leased content package simply because my costs would be higher.

thats what it would be, very semi-exclusive custom content, meant to be the meat of a paysite like the 100 'reality' sites already on the market.

There are content providers who offer semi-exclusive but nobody believes them when they say 'we're selling 10 sets then it will no longer be available' - they might be telling the truth but nobody's going to believe it. What I'm talking about is that the buyers would know exactly who else has the content.

By limiting the amount of people who have the content.
                  • Exclusive - 1 site with the content
                  • Semi-Exclusive - 5-10 sites with the content
                  • Licensed Content - Everyone and their mom has the content

                    Yep makes sense.
As long as your dealing with reputable companies of equal size.
