I was at the Autorama show last night with a friend of mine and Verne Troyer was there signing autographs. Most people know Verne as Mini-Me, but I liked him in Shasta McNasty and Jack of All Trades, too.
So, here's the surprise. You only expect to see one tiny person per car show, right? Well, up on the platform sitting behind the autograph table with Verne is another guy not much larger with a full, black beard, black suit, white shirt and black felt hat.
I think it was his Mini-Agent.
I don't know for sure, though, because the line was unbelievable and I decided to skip meeting him in person. He _seemed_ like a nice guy. He was signing things and smiling up a storm. Overall, it was an interesting if somewhat surreal experience.
That's pretty much the closest I've ever come to meeting anybody who is even vaguely a celebrity. Maybe I should have asked him for some money.
