I agree, part of GFY's flair is the "characters" here.
However, there is a point at which signature and message spamming gets to be a real detraction, even amongst the regular mayhem. The incentive to advertise decreases as those posts increase, I don't know at what exact point; however, the phem'n is evident.
All it takes is a few people posting "new" messages every other day about their program, and everyone begins to think it is acceptable behavior.
Big program or small I really don't see the difference. Indeed, it begs the question, which of the offenders is worse, the company who can afford to advertise or the company that can not?
Advertising on the board is a form of respect to Lensman, a tribute if you will. You know the board increases business, so defray the cost for the Adult.com by advertising.
