I HAVE NEVER SOLD ANYTHING ON EBAY! Also, the lady that said I was a paying customer that became too needy but has some sensation in his penis; definitely has me mistaken for some other person. hmm, I have put off replying to this thread and I honestly don't know why I am but here it goes.

My husband is disabled. He was on his motorcyle comming home from work one night when a drunk driver hit him side on and threw him across a motorway and into a brick wall. He was in a coma for three months and when he came out he he couldn't walk. He spent a year in a wheelchair and being told that he would never walk again.

He is a bullheaded man, so he wouldn't take that as a final answer and convinced them to try physical therapy. Luckily for us both he did learn to walk again. The problem is that he is left with extreme pain when he does walk, and he can't do it without two crutches. In addition the circulation in his legs is so poor that he has developed extreme non-healing leg ulcers in his legs. These are like hot pokers all the time.

He went from being a well known print journalist in London to a man who finds it near impossible to leave the house without being on an electric scooter (he refuses to go back in a normal wheel chair).

All of that and he is one of the lucky ones. There are so many people that go through their existance trying to squeak out what little bit they can while they lay there just waiting to die. I always cared about the disabled before but since marrying my husband their treatment has become so much more important to me. Largely because I see every day how difficult things are for them.

So, with this whole thing I am left in three minds.

Firstly, why post the letter here? If you felt sorry for him why use the word pathetic? I am not attacking, just encouraging a rethink next time.

Secondly, even if it isn't real what do you lose? Like someone said, send a clothed pic with a stamp on it. The worst that happens is you are out a pic.

Thridly, If it is a scam then the guy behind it has recived all my indignation for taking advantage of the disabled and making their status in soceity all that more difficult.
