                                                                                  We've discussed the necessity of prostate exams here at GFY before, and as I'm sure you can appreciate Archer, most of the guys here say 'There's no way I'm letting ANYONE stick their finger up my ass. I'd rather get cancer!!'. I would have thought that people who look at the most intimate parts of other people ALL DAY LONG would be slightly more open-minded and relaxed about such matters. I have worked in a hospital where a lot of our patients were in for surgery relating to the prostate. Either diagnostic or for treatment. I have explained how unpleasant these procedures are (namely having a tube stuck up your penis and then an instrument as well to shave the prostate for either diagnostic tests or to simply allow the man to pee again) and how much simpler it is to just visit your doctor once a year and let him give your prostate a little feel. At least then if something is wrong, you catch it early and may be able to treat non-invasively. Getting a prostate exam does not make you a homosexual. Unfortunately my words have always fallen on deaf ears.
