Seriously, I got a certificate as a nail technician and worked for two years doing nails in a very chi-chi hair salon in Texas. How chi-chi? $50 for a set of fake nails. I couldn't afford to get my hair done at the shop I worked in...

Yeah, they're everywhere. In Texas -- can't speak for anywhere else -- they were mostly run by Asian immigrants and charged insanely cheap prices for nails done using illegal materials. Like dental acrylic. That shit will poison you! When they use it to make dentures, etc, they bake it and it cures it so the chemicals don't leach out...but when you get it put on your nails, the chemicals leach into your bloodstream through the nailbed. transferred to san diego state as a sophmore - came home four years later as a freshman. go figure.
stopped drinking - started smoking the ganja - finished up at SJSU two years later with a BA - sans distractions.
... started drinking again once i saw the lucrative job market for political science grads.
eventually, earth will lose.
