Did you watch the Wizards game and Jordan kill the Magic just now on TV?
Great game..

Everyone was sooooo happy.

But did you see Patrick Ewing? (wizzards assistant coach)

He looked soooooo sad. Even after the win.

Why do they need Ewing when they have Kwame Brown sitting on the pine who they dont give minutes to?

Ewing cant D up, cant get boards, and his shooting range is about 1 foot outside the lane.

If he knows better he will STAY retired and not be a fool. The wizards are not going anywhere and its just hurting their younger talent.

He's good, but he's no Patrick Ewing.

Not yet anyhow.

Also Partick Ewing has lost 30 ponds getting into shape for some strange reason since he retired and left orlando.

He's in the gym more than any other player according to coach collins..

the best center the East has to offer is Mutumbo.

He's not much better than Ewing.

Ewing couldnt move with Orlando mainly becasue he was hurt and out of shape.

If he's in shape his knowledge of the game alone will help.

Trust me, I know about immoble big centers.
We have Sabonis.

His big body and 5 fouls help.

Problem with your logic is most east teams offense revolves around perimeter shooting and playing D...

Even if Ewings walker was allowed on the court he wouldnt be the focus of the offense. He simply would be there to collect fouls.

Now Sabonis he offers something to the table. He passes well from the post and his outside shooting draws the opposing center out and opens up the lane. Ewing offers none of that.
