i used them for a year and no problems. then my last month with them i had a ton of problems. their tech support for shit, its like everything just came crashing down all of a sudden.
they weren't worth the headaches so i moved my sites.Comment

Like I said... I haven't used them since 98. Back then they were fairly small and always willing to work with me on anything I needed. I knew they had grown quite a bit but I just figured that was because they were still offering that killer support. I have a dedicated server over there. It's quite pricey indeed but they have the VERY BEST SERVICE I've ever seen. They will install scripts, do DNS for all my sites, setup my config and htaccess files for me, complicated email setups, etc. They have a very knowledgeable staff and for search engine placement, the fact I get 128 IP's is very worth the extra cost. Plus they are willing to negociate on the bandwidth so give them a shout and tell them yan said to give you a good price.
For those of you having problems with support, are you using their online support? I usually get stuff done within 6 to 24 hours. Oh one more thing, in 4 years of hosting with them, i've had a total of 5 minutes of downtime. Been with them for 3 years and haven't had any major problems. Support is good and quick.
They do need to look at the prcing structure though. When I first started with them they were a little more expensive than others but the good support offset that and being a newbie at the time I appreciated the help they offered.
Lately though it looks like I am going to out grow my space there and unless they drop there prices I will be looking for somewhere else.Comment

I used to use them over 2 years ago. I was paying like $4.50
per gig, i'm not sure if they are still they are that expensieve, but I do know they are pricey, they sure aren't one of the cheaper hosts, they have ok support, sometimes it takes them a day or so to answer q's, which isn't so hot, because my current host always gets back to me in 5 min!!Comment

I have 4 dedicated servers with them and their support staff are online 24/7 when needed. Anytime something is needed they have someone on it. I would DEFINATELY recommend XXXWH to any webmaster with front small to large. You won't regret itComment

We have done alot of business with ReliableHosting (through Phil) and they have always been on the ball and are very quick to respond (via email, ICQ etc.)
Their bandwidth prices these days seem very competative too.

I use them and have been for more than 3 years, i have 3 servers and they are simply the best out there, i can tell you nightmare stories about other companies, not to knock anyone but from my expericene these guys ROCK!, they are alot of shady companies who are here today and then gone! becareful!
These guys have been in the adult hosting bussiness for the longest and they know our needs, great machines, prices and the service and second to none!

I used to use them many many years ago and they were great ... as for now these guys are really honest and have always done the right thing when needed...

I moved to them a couple of months ago and have nothing but good things to say.
They're not the cheapest but Phil was very competitive with his price when I was shopping around. If you send them an email and tell them what you're looking for specifically I'm sure they'll cut you a deal.
You also have to look at your hosts network as well.
These guys are multi homed with 4 bandwidth providers and 20 of their own peering agreements.
That way if a bandwidth provider decides to do upgrades *cough* verio *cough* it won't fuck up your traffic because they can just route your traffic through the other providers until its cleared up.
This is a much better situation to be in than relying on only one bandwidth provider to handle your traffic.
Plus they have REAL tech support. 24x7x365 phones, email, and icq. Not some "turn in a support ticket and it'll page a tech" bullshit. There are actual people who know what they're doing there around the clock.
Hell I spent an hour on the phone with Phil (the owner) on THANKSGIVING DAY talking about his network and making a deal for my server there.

I just left them about a week ago..... i was being charged roughly $1700 a month while averaging 4 Mbit/sec.... now i'm with oxeo.... oxeo has the same great tech support that reliable/xxx web hosting (same company)...... PLUS oxeo has aim support.......

Ok my first reply sounded way to harsh, They were awesome with their support DOUG was a friend and HELPED out alot when needed but What pissed me off was the over charges for bandwithd and the emailing. I guess I still have some harsh feelings for paying all that money towards the end when there were just as good if not better hosting companys like simplecom
But then again I wasnt on a dedicated with them so I have no clue on how they do on that.

Been hosted with them for 2 years, excellent customer support, expensive prices and I don't like how they use cogent bandwidth now. Moved to Choopa several months ago because didn't want cogent bandwidth. Yes it's multihomed and I maybe know nothing about hosting biz, but I don't like to see cogent every time I do traceroute to or out of my server.Comment
