    Interesting Theory

I run into the guy that sold me Superantuation like 20 years ago....hes a fully qualified investement adviser....he tells me he has like several sites on the net giving investment advice , stock advice, etc. He then tells me he charges like $250 a month for membership tp these sites. I ask him do people really pay $250 a month for this?....he says NO!....but, he says the government agencies like Security and Exchange Commision, etc, do because they moniter all sites like his that are into this area. In short he says each site has about 12 members!
He tells me thats the whole point.....he knew no-one would sign up at 250, but he knew the government agencies would be forced to sign-up to moniter the sites. and 250 is nothing to these big departements.
Anyway, i cant say how true it all is....but i must admit he has a good point....makes me think of what i could do that government departements would sign up to moniter....fuck, ill charge 500 a month.

Now, that is a brilliant idea. I think I'll open up an investment site at coedsinheat.com.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

Fuck, I am going to charge $1,000.00 per month recurring and open 100 sites. I am sure I will get 12k per month per site x 100 = 1.2 MM per month. Ok, now he got me hooked. I am game for it.

My sites are already in development, seems like I'm probably going to have to set up an American corporation to make it work. You really shouldn't have posted this idea on gfy, but thanks.

Seriously, my sites will actually be made to generate members. They'll pay $1000/month for my advice, right?

I would think that anyone certified to provide such information would be required, through their licensing, to allow the SEC or other govt. agencies access to their site for monitoring purposes.. without having to pay a membership fee..

Further to this, i was now chatting about this to someone else...he tells me he use to work for a media Moniter company that has clients like McDonalds, etc.
This company would read all newspapers, magazines, etc here in Australia checking for anything said about their clients, then compile weekly reports of all articles on their clients highlighting liable, etc.
He told me this company use to subscibe to almost every single newspapers and magazine acroos Australia.
It makes me think the same may be happening on the net.
Now, we have all subscibed to another porn site just to check out our competiion, etc.
Im thinking there is lots of opportunity along these lines to make big bucks.
I mentioned this finamcial adviser idea becuse im not qualified to do it, mabye others here are....but i am thinking along a new line where governments might sign up.

I think Scootermuze is probably right. When it comes to big brother you'd probably get assigned a SEC agent which would be given access to monitor.

Doesn't the SEC have an agent/monitor in every stock brokers company? They don't pay them to be there? do they?

Lets just say you were living in say Russia with a major website on investing in the American stock exchange....wat right would the Americam government have telling someone in Russia to give them a password and user name!
Now, if your website is talking about say several countries, U.S., Britain, Canada, Australia, Japan, etc, that means all these countries agencies may be forced to join.
Im not sure say if you live in the U.S. if the government could force an individual in the U.S. to give them access, for anyone here who has worked in this area would you knidly advice....but sure as hell, they cant force someone in another country like Cambodia to give them access!

I wouldn't put anything past our government. They probably get paid a commission for every site they join. Much like those $2000 toilet seats they use in Washington.
