Yeah, but I did notice $100 in rebills on one of my accounts today. It's sucking now, but it's probably good that they're doing something about visa regs, etc now than just ignoring it.

Yup they were in the shitter for me too. So I switched back to iBill for primary and stuck CCBill as my secondary and all is well again (for now, lol).
"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

If lots of people are complaining, what would checking individual accounts do?
I ran a report across the board on account declines during a recent time range and did not see anything abnormal?so it does not seem to be a global issue. If I can look at a specific account that is experiencing an issue, it would help start the ?troubleshooting? process.
I know a few programs that are having an amazing week, but in the interests of prudence, I would be more than happy to check out a poorly performing program once somebody sends me an account to look at.
As much as people may hate to believe it, we are all on the same team here?

For the month I'm 1:3687 which is quite high compared to what it usually is.
Our conversaion ratio has never been higher, but there has been a lack of consistancy from ccbill. While I totally trust these guys, the recent, nearly everyday problems with there stats and large swings in sign ups have left us scratching our heads.
With our ratios improving so dramatically its hard to put a finger on whats going on. We have improved our ratio with ccbill nearly 30% over the last couple months, dispite the technical problems they have faced. We are with them for the long haul.
What we have noticed is a slight shift in traffic types and paterns that would not be a result of any problems ccbill is having. It seems that "traffic" for whatever reason has gotten a bit smarter and requires more attention and targeting. We have focused on that end of it very hard over the last few months and seen great improvements with our conversion ratio. That does not mean we have not had large swings with ccbill, but it does mean that our overall ratio has still improved as well as our affiliates ratios.. big time! Its very important that a sponsor has an open line of communication with there affiliates so situations like this can be address and fixed. Sometimes its just a matter of a different banner or picture that can make all the difference. Im not trying tp spam here at all so sorry if it is coming accrossed that way. We have been very vocal about our displeasure with ccbill's tech problems over the last couple months. However, I have spent the last few days studying every click we have and there is still an overall LARGE improvement with our ccbill ratios... sales did come in spurts for certain, but they seem to have more then made up for the times that seemed slower.
If anyone would like to talk specifics.. just grab me on icq. I can show you some of our trends with our affiliates and you can judge for yourself.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
I think it's still mostly the fact of conversion on the sponsor end. Meaning, if a site sells, it will keep selling, maybe the rates are going up....
Examples....
one sponsor was doing 1:300, now is at 1:500
one was doing 1:1000 and now is 0:5000
I think it's proportional really.

trying to see if this is just me.
Totally in the shitter.
Also, refunds are way up and a few more chargebacks.
I have a 90 day recurring subscription for a site and went to cancel it and it was "removed" so I couldn't cancel it even though it was set to rebill and most likely has (my login ID still works).
This is the response I got;
"This subscription has been removed from active billing in our database and will not be re-billed. However, your most recent bill on your statement may not necessarily reflect the final charge from the website before your cancellation. You may not have received your statement showing your final billing yet, since our memberships bill in advance for the billing cycle. Please be aware that you are still responsible for any charges made on or before your cancellation date. You will still have access to the site from your final billing to the end of your term."
If I was joe blow the paying surfer and saw that type of response after doing everything I could to try to cancel the subscription before the rebill you are damn right I would charge it back.
Suckitbitch, that response most likely means that your cancellation was processed properly and you should not get rebilled after the date that you canceled the subscription, if you are looking at a credit card statement whose ending date is before your cancellation date, AND a rebill was processed in between that time frame, you might see a charge on your next statement, although the cancellation was processed correctly.
Not the easiest thing in the world to say concisely, I will see if it can be improved and made clearer. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
The reason that you still have access to login may be because you had paid for the access. In other words, usernames aren?t removed when you cancel, but when the subscriptions expire. If you sign up today and get billed for 1 month of access and cancel tomorrow, you will still be able to login for the next month.

well ccbill is still in number position for us and doing OK, but with re: to conversions i have this thought.
i own about a dozen tgp sites and get about 3000 submissions per day so i have a good "feel" for what the surfer sees re: affiliate programs.
i would say that close to 80% of the content i'm seeing is VERY similar across the board.
the market seems heavily saturated in the areas of facial cumshot sfuff and run-of-the-mill hardcore, most of it of mediocre quality, and some of it of very good technical quality.
the market is very heavy in what i would call "degrading" themes---sure this kind of stuff will sell to guys that never got laid in high school, and might have a chip on their shoulder against women, but for normal guys this stuff does not sell.
there is very little innovation, and it looks like most all of the content producers read the same book on "how to produce content". it is a no-brainer to go to bestbuy and buy a dv cam and then go to the corner and give a gal a couple hundred to shoot a POV facial video. the first time the surfer sees this it is fun, and he might get out the CC---after 1000 times it does not produce an economic transaction.
of course there are people that can shoot inventive facial content, i.e. <wifeysworld.com>, etc. but that is a rarity.
what the surfer is looking for now is quality original content. the affiliiate business model is going to get very tough when 100's of guys are pushing the same content. the sophisticated surfer understands that when he buys a $40/month recurring membership he's paid a premium for the marketing.

corvett,
hit me up on ICQ please: 110850739. I'll give you my account info there.
I posted a reply somewhere above that my conversions with Verotel were in the shitter, but when I see some of these numbers you guys are posting like 1/2500 etc I take it back..
I thought my program was going bad going from 1/400 week in week out to 1/650 I feel for you guys that have really droppod off it would be very frustrating. Hopefully CCbill changes their scrub rate soon.
There's a regular pattern here with some people seeing a problem and some not. I don't think it's just griping, either. I have the feeling there's something up somewhere, but it's not something that can be identified that easily.

Shaving somehow? I have a ccbill sponsor that over the summer magically went 1:2000 during big rebill weeks.
Weeks where there aren't a lot of rebills pending he went 1:150
