Honey, we've been blowing up SAM (Surface to Air Missle) sites for over 10 years now, since before the Gulf War began. Trust, I know. My hubby was over there doingit, and now one of my best friends is over there doing it. Personally, I wish we'd just blow the balls off Saddam and Osama, and any other penis lick (no offense folks...I have an oral fetish myself) that would harm us. Seriously, though, what I said here was true: Saddam wanted to wipe out the Kurds. The USA, since it was in our best interest to look good, made it a point in the treaty that we will continuously patrol the No Fly Zone over northern Iraq, hence Operation Northern Watch. Which is what my friend is doing over there right now. Babysitting so that Saddam won't blow away more Kurds.
Every day, We blow up a new SAM site that we find, or we have shots fired at our planes. for the past damn ten + years.
But no one really talks about those guys over there. No media coverage until recently, and then only because we were there taking care of business already. No one knew, no one cared to know, and hey, at least we still have some oil.
