Pic of Pathfinder

Here is a pic of Pathfinder when he was in Jump School in 1956.

I have darkened the face on the pic so that there cannot be a random chance of someone recognizing him that may have served with him. I have eliminated the name and rank on the diploma so that there cannot be a random chance of someone that may have served with him recognizing him. The images are posted on a site that he was working on prior to his death. He knew that his time on this earth was running out so he was doing research about God and the Bible. The images will be taken down at 8:10 PM PST.

Some of you, and you know who you are, expressed doubt that Pathfinder was a even a vetran and that is one reason I am posting a pic and diploma. As you can see the diploma is old and the C-119 dates the time as well. This period is after the Korean War and it is when he first became a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. The whois information will not not provide you anything of value so no need to bother and the URL has been posted before. So there is nothing new to learn, for you would be detectives.

Pathfinder was cremated. His oldest son left 15 Dec for Korea and returned 22 Dec, after having spread his ashes on a hill of battle that took place during the Korean War, as per Pathfinder's request. No one on this board other than myself and one other know Pathfinder's name and never will. If you want the entire story run a search. I am not going to continue to answer repetitive questions. Most of Pathfinder's personal belongings and records etc. have been removed from his house and put into private storage. I was going through some of his remaining items and ran across the pic and diploma as well as a few other items.

In addition the diploma is signed by Brigadier General Bowen who was the commanding general of the 82nd Airborne Division at the time and as related to me by Pathfinder was supposed to be the youngest General in the Army at the time.

ok i went and read the 'Pathfinder is dead' thread. Interesting. Many people here seemed to buy theking's story on that day, some who mock him today. i guess some people gave him the benefit of the doubt - hearing somebody has died even if it is just an Internet chat person can be a bit of a shock.

I looked through some old posts of the 'dead' - the step-son and his deceased step- father have VERY similar beliefs and writing styles.

I did a check I like to do when trying to figure out if somebody is using an 'alias' - theking failed.

it's not a foolproof test but it's pretty good.
