Great champagne

Very cool!!

I just had two cokes and a bacon double cheeseburger from McDonalds. Earlier in the day, I had 6 chocolate "gem" donuts, they were just ok. (I've had better) and there was some pot left over in a bong, so I hit that as well. I got a really wicked bad headache, so I had 4 (not 2 like it said) Excedrin gelcaps. Migraine strength.

I could feel my heart beating outside my chest thru my adult.com jacket (It's been cold here) I was kinda freaked out at first. With my weight the way it is, and my diet as poor as it is, and the fact that as mushy as a 45 year old corporate wannabe, I thought for a second I was going to have a heart attack. But I didn't.

how much one of those bottle go for?

YUM!!!!!!!!!!! I want some of that, too...having some chinese food later on, Merry Christmas....

You can find Krug at many fine wine shops. Expect to pay between $100 and $150 for the "Grande Cuvee Multi Vintage" depending on the retailer. Their MV rose' is great too, but costs a bit more.. usually around $200. Krug's single vintage and single vineyard bottlings go for quite a bit more.

To be honest.. if you haven't drunk alot of champagne before and don't REALLY love the stuff, its not worth paying those prices for any bottle.

Champagne is the same as most of the wine market in that quality improves by much smaller increments the higher on the price ladder you go. On the popular 100 point wine scoring system a $7 bottle of cheap california bubbly comes in at around 70pts (drinkable), while a $30 bottle of NV champagne from Veuve Cliquot, Roederer, Pol Roger or whoever will score around 85-90pts (very good to excellent). So you've gotten yourself a 15-20pt increase in quality.. an enormous improvement.. with a price increase of only $20. To go from 90 to 95 points tho, add $100 + to the purchase price ($200 + if you want Cristal).
