well the question could be approached from two different angles.

One is geographical and then it is some island (that I can't remember the name of) in the pacific. The same island had a big deal made of it in 2000 because it was the first landmass to have the new year.

The second way is by asking is it Christmas in countries that aren't Christian? Then, you have to ask what the relgions of the pacific islands are or jump to the next Christian country.

The line on that map looks like a bad sewing pattern made up by a drunk little old lady.

There's some small island in the pacific that is officially the first land mass to bring the new year. New Zealand is the first country i can think of without looking at a map that would go into '03.

Uelen, Alaska is the first US city to see the date change I believe. Upper Western Area. The line doesn't actually pass thru most of the other parts of the world insofar as actual cities, Might be a few, I didn't study the wall map that hard.

Umm I should also mention Ester the pagan God of Fertility.

Why do Christains worship on Sunday?? Go read your bible it says in Genisis 1.1 >>> that God made the earth in 6 days and then rested, and that 7th day was to be holy. The first day is SUNDAY, and the 7th day is SATURDAY.

But in 400AD, the pagans all worshiped there Pagan gods on Sunday. So the Catholic church said "Old testiment is invalid and is replaced with new Testiment, and our pope was just told we now worship on sunday."

YEP, everyone who goes to church is worshipping on the wrong damn day cause of what the pagans wanted back in 400AD.
