We do since if we do not, the Retail Cartel will crash

It is more for the kids though.

Basically we celebrate by just having a couple family gatherings.

I buy shit for people all year round so Santa can

Christmas is originally a pagan holiday. Christians stole it.

Me? I celebrate Christmas because we get gifts... nothing more.

What month do you celebrate it in?

Most do in December since it is convenient.

Christ was born in autumn, not winter.

                "Christians stole it"

um no. The churches simply aligned their beliefs with the pegan holidays. Not sure they stole anything

Oh wait. I would like that 20 spot I put in the collection plate. I never did see the church grow. Course, I did see the priest rolling in a bently.

                    I hate christmas.

I don't want anything and I don't want to give anything. My wife does all the shopping otherwise nobody would get anything. Did I mention that I hate christmas?

We celebrate both the pagan Yule holiday and a more traditional Christmas. I am Wiccan, but I have a 13-year-old son who still digs the whole Christmas thing. Fortunately, many of the traditions overlap... we just keep any "christian" references out of our decorations and cards. Makes it comfortable for me and enjoyable for him at the same time.

Trying to celebrate two major holidays a few days apart: Stressful, but worth it.

Getting our entire family together for much booze and merriment: Something that doesn't happen nearly often enough.

Watching my son's face as celebrates two holidays instead of one: Priceless.

I'm not a believer in any relgion, but I celebrate Christmas as a time to spend w/ family & freinds & exchange gifts as a sign of caring, love & appreciation.
