And for all the other curious mofos .... it was a compression codec that me and a friend were working on that turned out a 45 second WMV clip with full audio weighing in at under 140K total.

The clip was 3 years old ... a full 2 years before DivX ... but we did not have the funding to carry it through ... Even to pitch it to major electronics companies took money we did not have

the dubbing was off just a lil bit

but the audio was clear

Look at your files and sort by size...should be one of the bigger ones..

Back in the day of Win 98 and Win ME you could go right into the

"Temporary Internet Files" folder and there it would be.

But I cant find it in win2kpro???

It makes a whole bunch of different folders and they'll be named something like "aj08gh0aw3a"

Before you would go:

Click on C drive

Click on Windows folder

Click on System Folder

Then you'd see a folder called Temporary Internet Files.

And bam, it would be there.

If it's one of the bigger ones sort by size, or sort by URL and look for the URL.

naa the folder is there & i turn on my hidden files...the files not there....must be because it played inside the webpage as opposed to actually downloading it.

In your browser, go up to tools..

Scroll down and go to internet options.

Click on settings.

Then View Files.

When you get that list of 50,000 items in your temp interent file, at the top click sort by "type"

it will group all the movies together into one group.
