I think the joins came from sexpromote, were falsely added to hooper. But, I can see how hooprt would be pissed since he did send out mailers for slut toons that resulted in some joins, and thought you were manipulating his stats. He probably got that mixed up, and the only stats he had access to was his stats, not yours.

Everyone got pissed and nobody wanted to relax relate and release.

I understand the principle, but you guys both made it far worse than it had to be. As for slander...hmm...may cut harshly in terms of the evidence you presented, and you had similar response. In this case you were the sponsor, to an affiliate. That shit goes on DAILY at GFY, where people complain of stats manipulation and talk about shaving.

Especially sense you were responsible for the errors and the data.
Hope you don't shave, by any definition. You already said in the slut toons mailer that you paid there was an "extra sign-up" from your back-ups that did not show in the epoch stats...which shows you pay out on stats different than the "absolute" stats.

I would have respected you, if you had simply came onto the site and stated that there was a mess up with the affiliate codes, and that the issue had been resolved on your end and offered to meet and discuss it at your office with Hooper. Yeah legal issues get ugly. Full disclosure on both parts is almost always the issue.

I would imagine that we'll get to see the inner workings of their software. Should be fun.
