Personally, I would NOT recommend Mozilla. I have been working on a mainstream Website for months now, doing both the coding and the design. And if there is one thing I can tell you about Mozilla, is that the makers are far far behind in development on Netscape and Internet Explorer.
Sure, Internet Explorer seems to ignore almost every code fault, but Mozilla seems to be the other way around. I coded this site according to XHTML Strict W3C standards, and to give you an example, when I tried to put in the Strict tag in my code, Mozilla would fuck up the whole design (images which were supposed to be connected, suddenly were spaced out). Putting a standard tag back in the code, and everything went back to normal. WTF?
Creating a Website that looks exactly the same in Internet Explorer as in Mozilla is not easy. Simply because you have to take a step back when it comes to putting features in your Website. Therefore, when you surf with Mozilla, don't expect to see many Websites like they were supposed to be coded.
Plus yeah, it is much much slower than Internet Explorer when you havent got that autoload thingie turned on. My advice is, to keep using Internet Explorer, and when the time is ripe and Mozilla has reached a level so that it can really compete to Internet Explorer, switch over. Why do you think it's called 1.5Beta? It's a BETA!
