Although I'm based in the United Kingdom, I do 90% of my business in US dollars and with US clients. Having a bank account in the US would make things a lot easier - it's both slow and expensive to continually wire money from here to the US. I'm going to rapidly increase the amount of payments I make next year, so I want to sort something out ASAP.
I don't want to physically move, just set up a new company based in the US. (I'm also thinking of other locations... if there's a solution that means I can simplify my banking and save some tax as well, so much the better!)
Does anyone here have experience of setting doing this sort of thing? It's something a lot of adult businesses outside the US must have thought about. I want to get some basic info before going to talk to my accountant properly. Any advice?
