SciFi Channel "Taken" series

Anyone watching this? 20 hours over 10 weekdays.. quite a huge project.

I missed the first one last night but caught it tonight. Watching the second one tonight. Kind of reminds me of his "amazing stories" series, but all the characters in this one are intertwined.

I'm watching the entire series. The first episode was okay but the second episode was much better. I do wish it was on an hour earlier & not so many nights. This should have been billed as a maxi-series because it sure isn't mini...

I can't wait to see tomorrow night's episode

I have a tv in my office, but it's usually on just for backgrown noise...finds its way to the Discovery channel or things like that most of the time. I used to be a TV-aholic....sitting on the sofa for hours on end in the evening watching whatever was on. Now if I sit down in the family room in front of the big screen the boys know it's something worth watching. I try to keep up with a few shows. I love the CSI shows and ER seems better this year. Catch a few other things here and there... Mariners games are a must from April to September. Amazing how things change over the years.

Will get the DVD set

Find it much easier to watch TV that way.
Tivo is nice but I prefer DVD. If it doesn't come out on DVD it probably wasnt worth watching.

Yeah man it really sucks. I have to choose what I spend my time watching on t.v. and usually it's a couple of basketball games a week and maybe a video or 2 with the family but right now that's it.

I thought this was going to be a weekly series where I could maybe sit down and watch it once a week...that I could have made time for...hell man I haven't even been able to watch my beloved Sopranos this year either...guess I'm gonna have to rent them on DVD when they come out.

I have found it to be quite interesting so far, especially the role of the murdering captain. The characters seem to be developing quite well and although it is a bit slow to start that is just part of the drama. Keep in mind that they are covering a 50 year time frame.

I met the writer (Les Bohem), the director of the first episode (Tobe Hooper), and one of the actresses (Catherine Dent) at the Austin Film Fest in October. I also got to see episode 2 before y'all. I rule.

I haven't hacked into the Tivo or anything yet. Haven't had it all that long.

But if you missed it, they seem to play it for like 10 hours straight on weekends showing the ep's that you missed.

The ending was less than I expected it would be after all the build up.
