    Taking screen captures of movies?

I need a (free) program that will allow me to take screen captures of movies no matter what format they are in.. can you guys suggest something?

    thanks in advance
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

http://www.bsplayer.org/ does a good job taking screen caps of many different formats.
Geo-target banners, text, snippets of code...
basically anything on your website with Geo-Ads PHP.

          2) open up your image program (i use ulead photoimpact), open a blank fille
          3) click ctrl+v to paste image. DONE!

Here is a good one I found last week:

                              Blaze Media Pro.

You can use the decompile video function to extract every frame of the video into separate jpegs at whatever size and compression amount you want.

Pretty funny to go in and edit the jpegs then recompile them back into a video.

I'm going to put my friends face in a few videos.

Is there a way to SPACE OUT the frames being extracted? Without this feature, there will be TONS of frames extracted taking up too much space....and not really necessary.
