Yep, and just set the air settings in the config to your joystick. That way the rest of the game is fine and just grab the joystick when you are flying.

Very fun game, and the close combat is way better with the new patch. I also downloaded a 'mercinary' mod from fileplanet that puts in blood and some other goodies.
If you see any1 named 'PVT PARTS', thats me.
I usually play the desert maps like Gazala (gotta love those canyons!) and El Almein. All the water stages are great too. Anything with a plane, Im in.
And nothing beats gettings 10+ kills after dropping 8 bombs on the enemy base with the b17 bomber.

So in Counter Strike, you like that P90? I bought CS but didn't care for it, I played the Quake III total conversion called Urban Terror. http://www.urbanterror.net it's similiar in concept but a bit faster. I wish I could get an investor to let me buy the battlefield engine and just put in modern day equipment. It'd make a shitload of money.

Hero was good, but seriously... play that game 5 minutes and you realize that its a load of shit. I did enjoy it though.
The other night I was playing on a server with several nbrigade kids, and they really should concentrate more on killing than launching their jeeps over rivers. They routinely ended up with the lowest scores. And this was on a public server. When I first got on and saw several nbrigade on the other other team I thought to myself "oh fuck, this is not gonna be good". Ended up quite the contrary.
