    4 SALE: Thinking about Getting out of TGP's.

    Thinking about getting out of TGP's.
    Thumbnail Preview TGP's more specfically.
    Yeah yeah yeah, i know they are hot, and everyone is trying to get in.. Well im getting out.....

    It was great, but its just taking too much of my time fucking around with traffic, and dealing with wannabe pimp-playas (tgp webmasters) and all this other bullshit surronded with TGPs. I want to cut back and run a smaller quanity number of sites. It seems im juggling too many sites now days.

    Im fucking tired, been dealing with this too long and want to cut back.

    the site is www.candypost.com

    it only does about 75k now (mainly becasue ive been lazy) it was doing over 100k last summer.

    Anyhow it's costing me 300.00 a month for my webmaster to do the thumbs and do all the reviews and everything that has to do with updates. It has a new version of UCJ in it, and a thumb preview script, and like I said comes with a webmaster to do all your updates so you never will have to do one review, or one crop. Its up to you if you keep him. There are automated scripts out there like the Mad TGP script that do this as well, but with it you will have to do your own reviews and updates and I believe its around 700.00

    With candypost its all pre-installed, and has a grunt behind the scenes running the shit.

          The domain and site has been around a LONG TIME.
          Since 1998.. It jsut recently became a thumb site last summer.

                                                      Before they sold, they gave it to a former employee Jason Vandero.

                                                      In 2000 I bought it off him for $3,000.00

                                                      I later attempted to buy thier other site "Acid Pope" as well, but the sale to Python had already gone through.

                                                      Contacted Pythin to buy it but they said no. They had big plans for it.

                                                      I believe it only gets around 100 hits a day now.
                                                      It was once large..

                                                                                                                          that's only if you know what you're doing. If it's your first TGP, just skip the middleman and throw your money in the fireplace.


                                                                                                                          A knowledgeable webmaster could easily make 10k off that site in the first 2 months.

                                                                                                                                                                      The day I posted this I was frustrated, pissed, and just tired.. With all the hosting headaches, programing glitches, and people bitching to get listed and people bitching for more traffic, along with the MIA of my loyal programer I just wanted out and this was the start.

                                                                                                                                                                      Everything's fine now, and the frustration has passed.
                                                                                                                                                                      If I had not gotten this good offer from someone in the family I would have canceled the sale already and said sorrry. Im even selling it for 700.00 less than someone else offered me just to keep it in the family and give it to an ESTABLISHED ELITE webmaster.

                                                                                                                                                                      I wish him luck with the site, thumbsites are fucking hot right now and it has been one of my baby's for several years now.
