I could never understand the point of cheating or ripping off someone.

Although I do it to 12clicks all the time, but thats different.

I always thought the idea was business longevity, and by being honest and ethical and having good relations with webmasters, you get longevity.

I know MagicMan for a few years now. I have had quite a few friends buy content off him without any prob but they also never asked for a refund. I don't see why wms don't just dowload content and burn it on a CD themselves. I personally would never buy cheap content like that so I can have content that all other Joe/Blow has. However, at the same token I don't see how MagicMan could just not have $250 to refund.. absurd

You know, I tried to help out this guy a few days ago by getting him some customers, cause I felt sorry for him...He was telling me how he needed $50 so he can take his girl to dinner or something, and if he didnt have money, he wouldnt get pussy...So I got 2 people to buy content from him...

Then Choda icqed me and told me what happened with Brad...I left MagicMan a few messages, but he hasent gotten back to me yet.

I wish I would have known about this guy sooner and not recommended his stuff

Ok, now that I read more of this, it doesn't really look like a scam. I didn't read the entire thing, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

1- This guy say's he broke, needs money fast, and will almost give away his content for that reason

2- Brad buys the content for dirt cheap, and the guy doesn't send him the CD. He DOES give him web access to the content.

3- Brad only buys content on CDs, and asks for a refund.

4- The guy doesn't have the money for a refund.

5- Brad and 12clicks ruin this guys career on the boards.

I mean, the only reason you got the content so cheap was because he was broke, how can you expect a refund? Download the fucking content and burn it to a CD, no big deal right?

Keep in mind I don't know this guy or any more details than what I've posted here, so this guy could very well be a complete scam artist.
