                      I had grants, and spent them. And moved on to other things heh... so if I ever return to school I actually owe the government credits, but not money, thank goodness.

                                          Hell yeah. First thing I did. I had close to 70k by the time I graduated. Would have kept me in debt till I was 70. And you dont default on a government loan. They will OWN you. And you will never so much as be able to rent an apartment your credit is so fucked. Default is financial suicide.

                                                  I didn't take out any loans...I worked my ass off and paid as I went...put my last couple semesters on my charge card and paid it off later that year.
