                naw.. I used a 7mm Mag... 150 grain... one shot to the shoulder.. I broke the bone and crippled him so he could not run away...and also pierced the heart...so that it was a quick death.. and I didnt' damage any of the meat...

                                    i'm just curious as to how one becomes a professional hunter.

                                    every year there is a huge battle over the deer population. people are moving south (austin, tx) and into the hill country. there are deer all over the place and they really fuck up a car. the city uses 2 methods to control the population. one is with nets that the deer trigger (which is actually pretty cool to watch), the other is w/ professional hunters. the deer that are caught are moved to a wildlife reserve(no hunting goes on, and before this program, they were having problems sustaining the deer pop. anyway, using the two methods together seems to work best, pleases the activists and the people who live in the area. i live in an area w/ deer roaming and have to say i'd rather a deer be shot and used for food rather than hit by a car and lay by the side of the road for a week or so. just my

                                                    I have no problem with hunting and am definitely not a tree hugger, but seeing some yahoo's that have no respect for nature executing fenced in animals is pretty weak.

                                                                                                    There is nothing wrong with hunting if you eat the animal. Just killing them and leaving the bodies is stupid.

                                                                                                    However I don't see why someone would want to hunt with a rifle. Seems too easy. Making spears or using a shitty bow would be better. Hunt like the Indians used to.

                                                                                                                        again.. all of the carcases are at the processing plant being made into sausage, steaks, jerky, hamburger, and chili meat... and we do plan to eat the meat...

                                                                                                                        fuck it.. I feel soooo bad now... for now on... i'm growing my own veggies... eating with chop sticks... and hunting with a knife and a sling shot.. just so that it makes my life more difficult... hell.. i'm even going to start doing all math on paper, and read by candle light... I would find a horse to ride... but i'm sure that would offend someone too... ... but as long as I can't be called a PUSSY!!!!

I am sure alot of the people that weren't happy with the photos eat meat.
