Oh, so it's because you're racist as well as a hypocrite.I've never been in China, but seeing the hidden camera videos in that farms is enough to understand their culture. I have a chinese market near my house, well, lots of them, they work, earn money, and still sleep in the floor over some boxes. I'll never understand these people.
As I said, I know they're very far from our culture, even living between us. They should stay in China.
All makes sense now.Comment

Why is there any need to stop them though? Forgive me if I've missed something, but there doesn't seem to be any morally consistent reason for them to desist?I don't think anyone in our culture is capable of skinning a cow (or any animal) alive. That's the cruelty I'm talking about.

I love animals. We all love dogs. We all love to play with them and make of them our best friend.
Can you imagine your own dog or any of your pets skinned ALIVE?? That's cruel.
They steal animals from people, (some of them still have collars) and kill them. That's very bad.Comment

America/s isn't a Culture... it's cultures of many.
Chinese bring to the table, extreme family values, teaching values, culture values, much calmer religious values... In many ways they are America 100+ years ago, fighting for the same freedoms and dreams as we did.

Well, I think the chinese living in China farms think a bit different from the chinese living in the US...
What would happen in the US if a chinese steals and skins your dog alive?????
He'd probably go to jail. Well there are no laws in China. That's why people is fighting. For the chinese goverment to create laws. They live like in the far west!Last edited by DanielS; 11-18-2009, 11:22 AM.Comment

You're the one attempting to justify animal cruelty because it happens to animals that you happen to like, not me.Comment

Wait, what? So they are the same or they're not? Stop changing your mind to look politically correct.
What.. the.. fuck?
No laws in china?
"That's why people is fighting" ?
Actually, "they live like in the far east". Like they always have. You moron.Comment
-
I don't justify animal cruelty in any form. I'm totally against it.
I think it's fine to kill an animal if that can feed lots of people. But it's NOT fine to skin an animal alive just to sell their skin.
That's my point.Comment

Who cares if they think differently, they both cut the chickens head off and let the blood drain out. They zap a cow here, and while it's breathing they kill it... it's stunned, not dead, not painless..Well, I think the chinese living in China farms think a bit different from the chinese living in the US...

You clearly need to spend some time on the American Farm lands.
It's illegal to steal in China... but isn't it illegal to kill a Cow in India? Maybe we should respect the laws in India here in America?
If you think that people in America haven't killed dogs and eaten them, you are truly mistaken. If I was truly starving, dog and cat would be at the top of the family menu.

Why? do you think an animal wants you to skin it any less than it wants you to kill it?Last edited by dozey; 11-18-2009, 11:36 AM.Comment

They aren't killing them just for the skin, they use everything, much more than we do America, and they eat almost every part. Unlike, here in America.

I hope one day you get wrongfully accused of something serious and get a jury made of 'Chinese Americans'. It is well known in legal circles that Chinese American and J*w American jurors are a prosecutor's dream.

Wait, so Americans doing this to cows for leather is ok. And to chickens for feathers is ok.
But chinese with cats is not ok. That's your point?Comment

Oh please. Protecting the animals because they want to be protected, or protecting them because you don't like watching animals being skinned? Sounds like self indulgence.Comment

If you eat meat, you're satisfying a primary need. If you buy a luxury coat of $2500 or something like that, that's far from a primary need.
My point is that killing an animal to satisfy a primary need, for example the world's hunger is not as bad as killing an animal for making a luxury coat.Comment

Wait, so your point is that when people kill cows, the leather coats should be cheaper? Or more expensive? Or that they should throw away the skin?If you eat meat, you're satisfying a primary need. If you buy a luxury coat of $2500 or something like that, that's far from a primary need.

Dang, that's nuts..
We take cow brains from the slaughter house, mix it with several kinds of cheese in a 5 gallon bucket, using a massive drill we mix it up every few weeks... we leave it outside in a shed, let the flies fuck in it, lay eggs... mix it up more.
After a month, you have the best damn catfish stink bait on the planet.

Unfortunately, the ones I've posted here are not the only ones I've seen. If you want to 'learn more' there are lot's of videos about this subject in youtube.
But I don't recommend you to see them.
It's proven that some skinned animals are still alive up to 10 minutes AFTER the skinning was done. They still breathing and moving. It's scary to see.Comment

I could watch them eat the animal alive on film and it would be exactly the same as me killing a fly on the wall.Unfortunately, the ones I've posted here are not the only ones I've seen. If you want to 'learn more' there are lot's of videos about this subject in youtube.

I have shot my food and it walk for 10 miles before it die, heard a pig squeal as I cut it's throat, and shot rabbits with slingshots and it not kill them, they run around with a cracked skull until it either dies or I snap its neck.
As long as a person is eating it, kill it and clean it how you see fit.

I care very much and find such needless suffering reprehensible. That's a personal view though, those people aren't taking my life... they're taking the animals lives. Who am I to uphold animal rights while eating the rights holder?Last edited by dozey; 11-18-2009, 12:10 PM.Comment

Oh yeah... that's part of hunting, it doesn't always go how you plan.
It isn't like every cow is dead or out cold, when they cut the throat. Pigs are the same way... sometimes, shit really doesn't go as you plan.
