    as i thought african nations and eastern european most corrupt

    new zealand is number 1

    United States is 19

                      The US is 19? That was a generous ranking. I would love to know how they calculate that. Most of our politicians are as corrupt as they come.

                          Its just that the Kiwis believe any bullshit that's rammed down their throats and anyone with smarts left the country, so its not that Kiwis are not corrupt, just the ones who are left don't have the IQ to preform any corruption.

                          Most beautiful clean country in the world.... just don't drink the water or eat the food.

                                              This is a measure of the perceived level of public-sector corruption, not actual corruption in a country's government. Having lived in both North America and Latin America I've noticed that while Latin America is definitely much more corrupt, the form of corruption here is less discreet and ends up being noticed by everybody. North American corruption exists, but the corrupt seem better at keeping their activities out of the public eye, or the general public doesn't care.
